„The competition in the local and international market is increasing every year. However, Ojakhuri remains the preferred brand of the consumer“ - they say to Business Insider.
The representative of OJAKHURI highlighted the main challenges and successes for the business in 2023:
„It is a constant challenge to supply network markets, and we believe we have successfully addressed this challenge this year. Both in the capital and in the regions, our customers can now purchase Georgian natural spices without any obstacles.
This year, we introduced many new products, including Spice for khinkali, osemary, onion flakes, ground onion, corn starch, baking powder, and milk powder.
In terms of export, our products have entered the US market. The first batch has already been successfully sent, and the second part is planned to be sent in the next few days.
We also consider exporting to Great Britain as an achievement this year. Our products will be in London by the end of the year, and negotiations are underway for the restoration of exports to Ukraine“, - the company said.
Regarding the most demanded export products, the marketing and public relations manager of OJAKHURI, Salome Neparidze, mentioned, "It is difficult to single out any specific type, but there is a special demand for Georgian traditional samkaz, such as Svan salt, cold samkaz, foreign, and dry spices“
According to the company, exports across Europe have increased by 50% compared to last year.
„In 2024, we promise our loyal customers more innovations, which we will announce step by step“, - says Salome Neparidze.
OJAKHURI produces not only individual types but also mixed spices intended for different dishes. This approach allows customers to buy various spices in one package, eliminating the need for separate purchases.
For your information, OJAKHURI was founded in 2010, and the enterprise employs 70 people.
